All mixed link chains are 14K gold. They are semi hollow. They are NOT vermeil or plated. The chains are NOT as heavy as a solid gold necklace would be, which allows for a more affordable price point. If you are looking for a heavy chain, please consider the solid version. Many clients are quite happy with their semi hollow necklace. If, however, the heavier weight is important to you, I recommend the solid gold version.
